Bodyboard 01
Hi there!
These are my very first photos of me bodyboarding. My girlfriend and her brother were taking some pictures while I was enjoying the waves! On a total of 54 photos I selected 10 photos that were really good! My only regret is that they didn't take a photo of me in a tube that I have ridden, the tide was still rising and the waves had more power. I'm going to post some photos of this great day! Cheers guys!

NightPhotography 003 (Macinhata do Vouga)
Hello again,
Here's another night photography photo this one was taken in Macinhata do Vouga. It all started yesterday around 18PM when I was thinking to myself "Today is a good day to apply some of the things I've learned about THE famous Golden Hour!!" But it turned out not to be quite as I thought it would. The main reason is location, Macinhata is situated in a valley and instead of bringing that goldenish look to the place, everything fell right in the shadows way before the desired time and the final result wasn’t that good… well it wasn’t all that bad! but it didn’t have that glimmer I was searching for!

After trying and trying to capture a good photo within what I considered to be a good relation between light, color and shadows, I decided to look for a good place for my next night photo, after half an hour I found a good spot for my next nighty photo.
At 22PM I wandered out with my photography equipment, all dressed up and ready for the cold night. My dog (Minas) came with me and after 20 minutes we were both in the right place. The moon wasn’t up yet and I wanted to work fast because it was going to be a long exposure photo and I didn’t want the interference of the moonlight.
After defining the camera to ISO 100, aperture of f13, and a focal length of 22mm I activated the Bulb mode, put the camera to manual focus mode turned off the anti vibration mode focused it just shy from infinity, and pressed the button on my shutter release cord! The exposure time was of 50 minutes! The photo was taken in RAW mode which gave me maneuverability for the future correction I had to do within the photo later that night. It turned out to be a good photo, but still… I regret for not leaving it on for another 30/40 minutes. It would definitely turn out to be a greater picture than the one I got, well… maybe next time!
